Everything changes after Bear discovers a strange object called the One Wish Willow. Hoping to finally win Nikki’s love, he makes a wish that quickly comes true. At first, the situation feels perfect. Then Nikki’s affection becomes obsessive, aggressive, and increasingly unnatural. Soon, Bear realizes he may have unleashed something far darker than expected

Inde Navarrette gives the standout performance. She slowly shifts from charming and vulnerable to deeply unsettling without ever feeling cartoonish. Meanwhile, Michael Johnston makes Bear frustrating yet believable as someone blinded by loneliness and fantasy.

The cursed object concept also works surprisingly well. The movie treats the One Wish Willow almost like a supernatural infection slowly taking over people’s emotions and behavior. That approach gives the story a constant sense of danger even during quieter scenes.

Horror fans will probably appreciate how the film blends supernatural horror with emotional discomfort. Some moments feel similar to cursed object films like Wishmaster mixed with toxic relationship horror. The movie also uses silence effectively during several tense sequences instead of relying nonstop on loud music.
